Meet Our Director
Hello, my name is Amy, and I am proud to serve as the Center Director at Land of Learning in Sycamore, Illinois. I bring 17 years of experience in early childhood education, including 12 years in leadership roles. I hold a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Northern Illinois University, along with a Director Credential and Food Manager Certificate. I am passionate about creating a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and build a strong foundation for future success.
One of my favorite parts of working with children is witnessing those special “aha” moments when they discover something new. I am excited to become part of the Land of Learning community and bring positivity, enthusiasm, and fun to each day. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my fiancé and our three children, baking, traveling, and making memories together. I look forward to building meaningful relationships with our families and creating a warm, welcoming community where every child can thrive.
